IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

Back in 2016, New York Neo-Futurists Cecil Baldwin, Meg Bashwiner, Desiree Burch, Kate Jones and Jeffrey Kranor came to London to do a three week run at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. They held auditions and Degenerate Fox Theatre was born! Desiree and Kate stayed in London and taught the world’s newest Neo-Futurists the ways of the aesthetic and at 9pm on Friday April 21st 2017 ‘The Dirty Thirty’ was performed for the very first time.

Since then, Degenerate Fox have performed over 800 original plays. They have started an Education & Outreach program, running workshops for young people at community organisations and schools across England. They have organised and sponsored a free community self-defence workshop. They have raised money for multiple charities and community organisations. They have grown in numbers year on year.

In September 2020 Degenerate Fox temporarily moved their show online, creating The Dirty 30 II: Electric Pay-Per-View, enabling them to reach a wider audience than ever before.

Degenerate Fox is proudly made up of talented performers, writers, directors and theatre-makers from across the globe, some of whom are LGBTQIA+ and disabled.

Degenerate Fox are the London Neo-Futurists.

We are so delighted to have won an Online Commendation from the wonderful people at The Offies for The Dirty 30 II: Electric Pay-Per-View!

Here’s to many more!
